Fatherless Generation.

Family.

Father, Mother, Children.

Father is the head of the family. He educates, gives advice, set boundaries, create the culture of the family, and being the fatherly figure.

He is the heart of a family.

What is really going on with family in this era?

I’ve been wondering, what is the root of every problem in this world?

We see a lot of behavioral problems in teenagers such as cases of murder, rapes, suicides, drug addiction problem, smoking marijuana, and still a lot of cases going on.

Statistics report shows that :

  • 63% of youth suicides are from fatherless homes (US Dept. Of Health/Census) – 5 times the average.
  • 85% of all children who show behavior disorders come from fatherless homes – 20 times the average. (Center for Disease Control)
  • 80% of rapists with anger problems come from fatherless homes –14 times the average. (Justice & Behavior, Vol 14, p. 403-26)
  • 71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes – 9 times the average. (National Principals Association Report)

What are we actually doing?

As a father, yes he needs to ensure that he provides the children needs from money. He buckles down for their sons and daughters until the point that they miss the main issues. They concentrate more on the work instead of giving affectionate love for them.

As a matter of fact, we miss the point where father not only have to provide the financial aspect for the family, yet in addition living the part as a leader.

We can see a lot of father that disregard the value that he should give for the family. He forgets about the value of “love” that comes from a family.

There’s a considerable measure of disappointment that begins from a family these days. We can see a lot of broken home family, a father leaving their mother and children, and different sorts of issues.

As children, yes they are broken. Father figure is fundamental for a child. There’s a part in the child’s heart that is absent and heartbroken.

I’ve experienced that kind of loss. And I realize that a lot of children are experiencing the same thing as I do.

But then, I found the answer for this situation. The true father is not based on the human father. It’s not only by our biological father, but it’s the heart of God.

God is the Father.

He’s the only one that can heal the broken people that are caused by the human fathers’ love. Despite the fact that He is not physically present for us, but He heals us from the within.

He is eternal. We cannot compare His love by the human father love.

God sacrifices His only Son to redeem our sin in order for us to have the chance to have a decent relationship with Him and call Him a Father.

He will accept you for who you really are. He would not judge you.

He cares for you and always hear your prayer.

He’s heartbroken when seeing you hurting yourself.
